Filling the Feeders at Roberts’ Roost Country Guest House

Filling the bird feeders is a very integral part of the upkeep at Roberts’ Roost Country Guest House. We want our guests to be able to experience as much nature and wildlife as possible during their visit. To accomplish this we place as many bird feeders and gardens around the perimeter of the yard as possible. Every couple days, Dennis replenishes the feeders in order to draw the largest variety of birds to the yard.

Last week we had this leucistic House Finch at the feeder.

We were also very fortunate to be able to view from the yard, these magnificent Bald Eagles.

Almost everyday you can see the Red-tailed Hawks flying over Roberts’ Roost Country Guest House and hear them calling to each other. This photo of two Red-tailed Hawks was taken on January 11th, 2015.
